Review: Epson Workforce 500 Ink Cartridges

Epson Workforce 500 Inkjet Cartridge Options:

Most likely, your Epson Workforce 500 included a set of T069 series inkjet cartridges.

The High Capacity Question:

The Workforce 500 will also work with the “high capacity” T068 series cartridges – sold mainly by Epson direct – with the exception of the T068120 black cartridge which you may see in your local office supply store.

As you can see from here – cartridge yields – the T069 series is a better deal iff you can get the T069 cartridges for less than $9.00 each (can be found on the web – Epson charges 20.00 for the T068).  Epson also sells from Amazon, OfficeMax, et al, the T068 black 2-pack which is a good deal because you are gonna use black, and as seen here, these cartridges contain no sponge so they will store quite well.

Workforce 500 Uses:

  • T068120 – Black “High Capacity”
  • T068220 – Cyan “High Capacity”
  • T068320 – Magenta – “High Capacity”
  • T068420 – Yellow – “High Capacity”

The T068 and T069 cartridges can be used interchangeably.

  • T069120 – Black
  • T069220 – Cyan
  • T069320 – Magenta
  • T069420 – Yellow
